Fivelandsneset fjordhytter tilbyr en unik overnattingsopplevelse i Åkrafjorden. Våre to mikrohytter er plassert i en idyllisk løvskog, og gir en fantastisk utsikt med store panorama vinduer i front. Hyttene har fått hvert sitt navn - Fjord og Fjell. De er identiske utseendemessig men skiller seg ut med noe ulik utsikt og plassering i terrenget. Med fokus på luksus og komfort, vil våre gjester kunne nyte en avslappende og eksklusiv opplevelse.
Fivelandsneset fjordhytter offers a unique accommodation experience by Åkrafjord. Our two micro-cabins are nestled in an idyllic deciduous forest, providing stunning views through large panoramic windows at the front. The cabins are each named - Fjord and Fjell. While they are identical in design, they are a little different in the views and positioning within the terrain. With a focus on luxury and comfort, our guests can enjoy a relaxing and exclusive experience.

This idyllic cabin is set in a quiet environment, perfect for those seeking the mountain and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Brekkestølen offers a simple standard - an ideal base to recharge and experience the spectacular views over the fjord. The cabin is equipped with the essentials for cooking and staying, allowing you to focus on what truly matters - the peace and the stunning nature around you.

Hytte Fjell
Cabin Fjell is ideally situated on natural rock outcrop, surrounded by blueberry bushes and birch trees, creating a cozy and sheltered atmosphere. The location is slightly further back in the terrain, offering the perfect combination of peace and stunning view.
In this cabin you can enjoy breathtaking views over Åkrafjord and the beautiful farms on the northern side. The cabin´s location also provides a view of the surrounding forest and landscape, creating a magical ambiance when darkness falls and outdoor lightning illuminates the path and trees.

Brekkestølen
For mountain-experienced people, we offer accommodation in our beautiful shepherd´s hut. Brekkestølen is beautifully located in the mountain in Åkrafjorden. The cabin was built in 2021, has basic standards, and is the perfect starting point to enjoy the quite and a fantastic view of the fjord.
Guest are responsible for cooking, collecting water, washing dishes, cleaning the floors, and tidying up both inside and outside after their stay. The cabin will be supplied with hand sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning supplies.
Number of sleeping places: six people
One bedrom with a double bed, one double sofa bed, and a loft with two single mattresses.
To reach Brekkestølen, follow marked trail from our farmyard and up into the mountains. It is about 1,5 to 2- hours walk in steep and rugged terrain. The hike is moderately challenging. It is recommended to bring a headlamp/flashlight as the trail is not lit.
The hus is located at approximately 460 meter above sea level. For those who wish to explore more, it is possible to continue from the cabin and hike further up to Etnefjellet.

About us
Our story began over 10 years ago when we took over the family farm, Sørheim, located in Markhus in Åkrafjord. When we took over the farm, it had been uninhabited for 24 years. The farm was overgrown with trees and bushes, and the buildings were in a state of disrepair. It was almost impossible to see the fjord. After 10 challenging years, all of our free time has been dedicated to restoring the farm. In the beginning, the farm was used as a vacation home, but in 2020, we moved in permanently.
The farm consists of a main house, a sheep barn, a hayloft, a boathouse, and a shepherd´s hut up in the mountain.
Our interest in landscape/landscape architecuture and the way we live here is something we hope to inspire others with. We want to share our beautful nature with others and ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience. In the summer of 2021, we completed the shepherd´s hut up in the mountain, and now we are ready with two amazing micro-cabins down by the fjord. This is the reason why, after a long time, we can finally realize our business by renting out these cabins.

Guidelines/Practical information
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made after 14 days will not be refunded.

In case of cancellation due to illness, we recommend checking with your travel insurance.
We kindly ask you to book according to the number of guest who will acually attend. Extra visitors are not allowed. If additional people arrive, they will be asked to leave the property immediately.

Parking
It is not possible to drive all the way to the cabins. Parking will be reserved to guests above the cabins. Look for the marked sign along the road upon arrival. From the parking area, you can see the cabins, and it will take about 5 minutes to walk down to the cabins.
There is a separate parking area for those who will be using Brekkestølen. This mountain trip requires walking.

- Panel heaters and a bio fireplace keep the cabins warm on cold days.
- Beds from Wonderland, and all textile products are from Høie of Scandinavia.

Shops: Here you'll find grocery stores, a pharmacy, clothing stores, a liquor store (Vinmonopolet), and places to eat.
Kitchen
The cabins are equipped with a kitchen, including a refrigerator, hot plate, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, and all necessary kitchen utensils. There will be salt, pepper, and cooking oil, as well as various items such as aluminum foil, baking paper, etc.
Bathroom
The cabins are equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower. Towels, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, and toilet paper will also provided for guests.
Note! Do not dispose of anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. All other waste should be placed in the trash bin provided in each bathroom.
Pets
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed inside our cabins due to allergies.
Movement on the Property
Åkrafjord offers steep and rugged terrain. All activities outside of designated areas are at your own risk. The area is not suitable for children.
Accessibility
Due to the landscape and location, it is not possible to drive all the way to the cabins. The walk down to the cabins must be done on foot. The route includes a combination of wooden stairs, gravel paths, and stone steps, which may have some uneven sections. Åkrafjord features steep terrain, so the walk is short but includes some steep parts along the trail.
Therefore, it is not suitable for children or people with limited mobility.
General rules during your stay
- Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins. Please do not discard cigarette or snus in nature.
- Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM onwards to respect other quests.
- Our guests are required to treat the cabin and its furnishings in such a way that no damage occurs. The tentant is liable for any loss or damage to the building, outdoor areas, or furnishings, except for normal wear and tear and minor accidents.
